"There will be daily performance every other fortnight from October 17 on," producer Sergei Baranov told reporters.
"The scene is laid in the future, this is a science fiction story," Dmitry Astrakhan, director of the Russian version of the musical, said.
He said that the story has nothing to do with The Queen.
"The musical is just based on the band's songs and music. This is a realm of live sound, there are no pre-recordings," he added.
The scene is laid in the future where there are no musical instruments, everyone wears the same clothes and downloads the same tunes produced by mega-computers. A team of rebels headed by Galileo and Scaramouche begins a fight against the Killer Queen of global corporation Globalsoft.
Three Queen's songs, We Will Rock You, The Bohemian Rhapsody, and We Are The Champions, will be delivered in English, others in Russian.
The first night of the new show was performed in Dominion Theatre in London in 2002. In 2003 the musical was staged in Australia, Spain, and the U.S. After Russia, it will expand to Cologne, Johannesburg, Toronto, Milan, and Buenos Ayres.
