The ROMS will announce its intentions at the nearest conference of the International Confederation of Authors, which opens in Seoul tomorrow to last through Thursday, October 21.
In particular, the ROMS will protect the rights of RIA Novosti, whose photographs are used in the USA and elsewhere with no authorisation.
"We have never before seen a Russian manufacturer's rights to be abused on such a grand scale. We intend to pose the issue at an international level. We shall come out against foreign trespassers the way overseas organisations are combating Russian trespassers," Mr. Zyatitsky emphatically said.
ROMS spokesmen will contact the culprits in person or societies analogous to it and based in culprit countries.
The ROMS is firmly determined to have Russian intellectual property producers' rights reckoned with. "Meanwhile, Russia is not viewed as a serious presence in that market. The general opinion expects Russians to make unauthorised use of US produce, and does not expect the reverse of other countries. We want to destroy those mental stereotypes," stressed our interviewee.
