MINSK, October 21 (RIA Novosti) - Several dozen representatives of the Belarussian opposition are holding an unsanctioned protest rally in downtown Minsk.

A RIA Novosti correspondent reports that oppositionists have made a rank on Oktyabrskaya Square opposite the Belarussian president's residence and unfolded a poster "Freedom to Reason!"

Some rally participants are holding portraits of an opposition leader, Anatoly Lebedko, who is in a hospital with injuries received during the protest rally on Tuesday.

The police are not taking any measures against the unsanctioned rally's participants and are just watching them.

Opposition protest rallies have been held in Minsk for four days running. Oppositionists demand the referendum returns canceled saying they are forged.
