According to data provided by the Central Election Committee, 123 polling stations have been opened abroad.
In particular, 4 polling stations have been opened in Russia - in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Tyumen.
The electoral list in Moscow contains more than 4,500 names, and in St. Petersburg - 3,806 names.
Besides, an additional list has been created. It contains the names of 145 Ukrainian citizens, who submitted their registration forms shortly before October 23.
About 4,000 international observers monitor the presidential elections in the Ukraine.
Among those are representatives from the World Ukrainian Congress, the Ukrainian Congressional Committee of America, the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute, the Ukrainian-Polish Forum, the Institute of Western Europe and CIS, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union, and the Conrad Adenawer Foundation.
In addition, the list of observers includes representatives from such international organizations as the American Center for Democracy, the Consent Internacional, CIS-EMO, and the Union of Komsomol organizations VLKSM.
Meanwhile, 600 of observers from CIS countries also participate in the monitoring of the elections. This group includes representatives of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, border regions of Russia, Belarus and Moldova, central election committees of CIS countries.
A 40-member delegation of the European Council's Parliamentary Assembly headed by Doros Hristodulides also arrived in Ukraine to monitor the elections.
Besides, the Ukranian presidential elections are attended by a delegation of the European Parliament headed by chairman of the French-Ukrainian Friendship Committee of the French National Assembly Thierry Mariani.
