Mr. Duka, who used ketamine for anesthesia to animals, was found guilty of illegally purchasing and storing narcotic drugs without aiming to sell them, but was released from punishment in connection with "a change in the situation." The vet does not consider himself guilty and disagrees with the verdict.
* The Naro-Fominsk court will hold preliminary hearings in the new process onthe murder of State Duma deputy, Gen. Lev Rokhlin.
* The Moscow regional court will start hearings on the abduction and murder in 1995 of State Duma deputy Sergei Skorochkin. The case is considered for a fourth time.

* The South Chinese city of Zhuhai will host the opening of the fifth international airspace exhibition Airshow China 2004 (November 1-7). The world's leading aircraft manufacturers, including over 40 enterprises of Russia's defense and industry sector will be represented there. An air show with participation of Russian aces will take place in the framework of the exposition.
