This achievement will be included in the Book of Russian Records and the Guinness Book of World Records.
The organizers of the event told RIA Novosti that the size of the horse in the composition was 2 meters by 2.5 meters, the rider's height was 1.8 meters and the dragon's height was 1.5 meters. The emblem depicts St. George on horseback slaying a dragon.
Apart from that, the world's largest folded-paper hat (2.5 x 1.5 meters - an entire family could be covered by the hat) and the world's largest paper boat (3 x 1.5 meters, capable of holding a group of tourists) will be folded.
Japanese Embassy's Counselor for Cultural Affaires and Information Ichiro Kawabata is expected to view Russia's new achievement.
Sports fans will be able to watch an origami frog competition based on the Olympic Games in Athens. Famous Muscovites will be the frog's personal coaches; they will try to make their paper athletes to set records in the long jump in the as of yet non-Olympic sport.
The records will be recorded by representatives of the Book of Russian Records and applications will be sent to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Visitors will be able to demonstrate their skill at origami in several contests and specialists will teach people how to create difficult origami figures.
Members of the Russian Kendo Federation, who will demonstrate Kendo and other martial arts, will guard the large origami pieces.
