MOSCOW, November 4 (RIA Novosti) - The Consul of the North Korean Consulate General in Nakhodka died in a car crash in the Maritime Territory (Far Eastern Federal District), a source at the Maritime Territory's Interior Department told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
The accident occurred near the village of Novolitovsk, Partizansky district, Maritime Territory.
According to preliminary data, the North Korean consul was in the consulate's Toyota and while passing other cars, the driver moved into incoming traffic an crashed into a Mitsubishi.
"The driver of the Toyota, the consul and a North Korean Consulate staff member died instantly," the source said. "The driver of the Mitsubishi and his two passengers were hospitalized with grave injuries."
An investigation has started.
