MOSCOW, November 4 (RIA Novosti) - According to revised information, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Khanty Avia airlines made an emergency landing outside Khanty-Mansiisk (Urals Federal District, Western Siberia) at 7:26 a.m. Moscow time, RIA Novosti was told in the Emergencies Ministry of Russia.
"The helicopter landed 2 km southeast of Khanty-Mansiisk. It had 20 people on board: 17 passengers and 3 crew. Five people - the crew commander and four passengers - were injured. They have been taken to a hospital," said the source in the ministry. According to his information, the helicopter was seriously damaged. An investigation commission is working at the site.
