MOSCOW, November 14 (RIA Novosti) Moscow is ready to talk with Volcker Oil-for-Food Commission that is arriving in Moscow on Sunday "on all issues of their interest," Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov told RIA Novosti. Later this week the experts will be received in the Russian Foreign Ministry for consultations.

According to the Russian diplomat, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan established the Volcker Commission to investigate alleged UN Secretariat staff's inappropriate behavior in the well-known Oil-For-Food UN-Iraq program.

The UN Security Council endorsed the move and called upon all countries to cooperate with the inquiry. The commission is working with all countries, and Russia is no exception, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said.

"We are awaiting the commission's experts and ready to talk to them on all issues, based on a UN Security Council provision that the Volcker Commission is not an investigation body that can accuse somebody of something. Its sole function is to collect information for a final report it is supposed to submit to the UN Secretary General," Fedotov said.
