Russia and the EU have already completed coordination of road maps on the common economic space and the common space in education, science and culture, he said.
"The only open issue is coordination of the road map towards the common external security space," he added.
The reason is different approaches of Russia and the EU to neighboring countries, Bot believes.
"The Russian party says that the EU should not deal with problems of some regions neighboring on Russia, because there are such organizations as the Council of Europe and the UN to do it," he pointed out. "But the European Union is trying to extend a helping hand constructively, so Moscow should not view our good neighborly policy as an attempt to expand our sphere of influence and to impose our standards and values on those who do not want to accept them."
"First of all, we should attend to the three road maps that have been almost agreed upon and complete their coordination," the Dutch minister said. "Then we will announce it and say that talks on the remaining one will go on, and we will put the three coordinated road maps aside until we complete coordination of the last one, the external security space. When it is ready, we will join the four documents together and sign them."
"Of course, it would be better if we achieved total agreement on all the four road maps. We intend to be very constructive, to make advances and are ready for any compromises," Bot concluded.
