The Ministry of Foreign Affairs press and information department is circulating a commentary as Russian-based media outlets have inquired about the Caucasus Centre website, active in Sweden.
The Caucasus Centre and its likes directly concern Russian security. The information they offer speaks for itself. Characteristically, Lithuania and, soon after it, Finland tabooed the notorious site, points out the ministry.
The Caucasus Centre resumed work a few days ago with the Swedish-based PORT 80.se provider. Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Sweden to pay due attention to the fact, November 15.
Sweden says it is active on the international anti-terror coalition, and making consistent efforts for it, so Russia expects of that country steps necessary to suppress propaganda of terrorism and violence coming out of its land. The matter rules out double standards. To attract public attention and sow the seeds of strife and hatred in the whole wide world is one of terrorists' goals. It is inadmissible to offer them whatever leniency in that, the Foreign Ministry emphatically says.
