GROZNY, November 21 (RIA Novosti) - A truck carrying police officers exploded near the village of Prigorodnoye in the Grozny district of Chechnya, reported a RIA Novosti source in the Chechen Interior Ministry.
According to the report, an unidentified explosive device was set off at the side of the road Grozny-Shatoi when the Ural truck carrying police officers from the Astrakhan police department was passing by.
"The platoon commander and the driver were wounded and sent to a hospital," the source revealed.
At present, Chechen law enforcement operatives conduct an investigation of the incident.
