KIEV, November 23 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian parliamentary Speaker Vladimir Litvin has reported about pending talks between Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovich. Litvin told the Novosti-Ukraine news agency about his today's meeting with Kuchma and Yanukovich who expressed readiness to take part in a round table.
Besides, he also talked to Yushchenko's envoys who aspired to dialogue but offered certain terms which were submitted for the consideration of Viktor Yanukovich. The latter agreed the terms could be negotiated.
The Speaker suggested holding such a meeting at the Supreme Rada (parliament). "The venue doesn't matter-what is vital is the substance of the talks. It is politicians who should engage in talks today because if they keep silence, the street can raise its voice," said the Speaker.
He has not ruled out that Wednesday can see a meeting of the factions' leaders if they ask for it.
