The Kazakh head of state was echoed by his Armenian counterpart Robert Kocharyan, the press service reported.
"I would like to congratulate you on this occasion. I hope Armenia and Ukraine will continue developing and enhancing the relations of friendship and mutual understanding for the good of our states and nations," the greeting says.
Uzbekistan's President Islam Karimov followed suit.
"It is my strong conviction that your occupying the highest post will secure Ukraine's independence, enhance the country's prestige on the world arena and provide for the welfare and prosperity of the people of Ukraine," Karimov stated.
