In his words, Mr. Levchenko will tell about the results of the congress of people's deputies held in Severodonetsk Sunday.
Among other things, the congress participants took the decision to recognize the official resolution of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine on the election results as legitimate and fully in line with the constitutional norms, and Viktor Yanukovich as the legitimately elected president.
"Should the illegitimate president come to power, the congress participants reserve the right to take adequate action and protect citizens' interests," reads the congress resolution unanimously approved by the participants.
"With the worst crisis development of the socio-political situation in this country, we shall be united and resolute in protecting the Ukrainian people's will, up to the holding of a referendum on a possibility of changing Ukraine's administrative-territorial structure," the resolution emphasized.
Among other decisions taken by the congress is the decision to set up an interregional union of local self-government bodies of Ukraine.
