ANKARA, December 6 (RIA Novosti's Arseny Oganesyan) - "The Russian side offers its expert and consulting services to boost ship traffic in the Straits using our relevant experience in the Baltic Sea. We have no doubts in the experience of Turkish partners but believe that ours may be useful," Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko told Russian journalists in Ankara.

According to him, consultations on the possible relief routes of oil shipment are currently underway. "We proceed from the fact that such transit should not cost more than shipment via the Bosporus. This is the territory of Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, etc. However, Russia is interested in the safe work of the Bosporus," Viktor Khristenko emphasized.
