According to Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician Nikolai Plate, these agreements point to the high level of bilateral scientific-technical cooperation.
"We come out for a qualitatively new stage of Russian-French cooperation. It marks the transfer from cooperation on separate projects to normal everyday cooperation and permanent interaction," the academician said.
"This is not only the promotion of Russian-French scientific links but also the consolidation of Russian-European common scientific space," Mr. Plate stressed.
French ambassador to Russia Jean Cadet who attended the forum's opening ceremony said that these agreements as well as the project boosting innovations allowed us to create new cooperation mechanisms in this field.
"The forum symbolizes our striving for the achievement of best results in the sphere of scientific research and promotes the development of all-European relations with Russia," the ambassador emphasized.
The forum is organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the French national research center and France's embassy to the Russian Federation.
