In the course of the investigation new interesting details have appeared that will be disclosed to the public in the next few days, a spokesman for the Prosecutor General's investigation department told RIA Novosti.
At the same time the Prosecutor General's Office will neither confirm, nor refute the information that Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the U.S. Levan Mikeladze was the last person who spoke with Mr. Zhvania at the night of his death.
It was the Tbilisi TV company Imedi that reported Monday that the last call to Mr. Zhvania's mobile phone he answered before his death was from Mr. Mikeladze. According to data, the conversation between the ambassador and the prime minister took place at 1:19 a. m. on February 3.
Mr. Zhvania died early February 3 from carbon monoxide poisoning in his friend Raul Yusupov's apartment.
