MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is to visit Kyrgyzstan in summer 2005, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told journalists on Friday after the talks with his Kyrgyz counterpart Askar Aitmatov.
"The Foreign Ministries of the two countries will take control over the agreements achieved during President Askar Akayev's visit to Moscow," Mr. Lavrov said.
"We expect Vladimir Putin's summer visit to Bishkek to settle all bilateral issues," he emphasized.
Following the talks Sergei Lavrov and Askar Aitmatov signed the program of cooperation between the Russian and Kyrgyz Foreign Ministries.
According to Mr. Lavrov, in September Kyrgyzstan will host an economic forum. Those attending will be representatives of Russian economic ministries, businessmen and heads of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
