Addressing a press-conference in Tbilisi, he reported that ultimate results of the FBI examination would be made public in a month. A US laboratory will also carry out the prime minister DNA's test.
"The available materials were tested for the content of alcohol, drugs and toxic agents. We shall take now samples of his clothes so as to make sure after a DNA test that the materials we received earlier did belong to Prime Minister Zurab Zhvaniya," said Brian Parman of the FBI office in Tbilisi.
A group of five FBI experts who arrived in Tbilisi early this week worked on February 8 and 9 in the flat where Zhvaniya had been choked with carbon monoxide to death. They examined the gas heating device and its compliance with safety norms.
