GROZNY, February 13 (RIA Novosti) - Ramzan Kadyrov announced his plans to press charges against human rights activists who accused him of kidnapping, announced the first deputy prime minister of the Chechen Republic at a press conference in Grozny on Sunday after a meeting on counter-wahhabism and counter-extremism measures.

According to Mr. Kadyrov, such accusations are groundless and he intends to file a court case against human rights activists who accused him of alleged participation in abductions of Chechen citizens.

During the meeting, the participants adopted a decision to develop a system of counter-measures against the influence of wahhabism on the Chechen youth.

Chechen President Alu Alkhanov told the journalists that he proposed within a week to develop a "comprehensive program on resisting whhabists and their influence on the Chechen youth."

He also stated that the authorities planned to increase efforts to create jobs for young Chechen citizens and develop a network of sports schools. In Mr. Alkhanov's opinion, these measures will also help protecting the youth from the terrorist recruiters.
