MOSCOW, February 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's President Vladimir Putin forwarded a condoling telegram to Emil Lahud, President of Lebanon, on a terror act in Beirut's heart, in which many died, former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri among them.
President Putin resolutely denounced the heinous crime, and expressed his assurance that the culprits would prove unable to undermine domestic peace and stability in Lebanon, to which he refers as a country friendly to Russia.
The President deeply condoles with the Lebanese top and the bereaved Hariri family.
