"Germany boasts good experience in adapting the housing and communal sphere - Germany's reunification. It has much in common with the current situation in Russia. Therefore, Mr. Stolpe and I agreed to set up a practical working group to examine the housing and communal sphere in Russia and Germany and introduce relevant amendments," Mr. Yakovlev told journalists.
According to Manfred Stolpe, there were certain mistakes during the implementation of the housing and communal reform in Germany and the German side "wants to give a chance not to repeat these mistakes".
"A strong and developed Russia will be Europe's good partner," he said.
