CHISINAU, February 23 (RIA Novosti's Vladimir Novosadyuk) - "I am sure they were not spin doctors," Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin said at a press conference. However, he failed to name the profession of the expelled Russians.
"We invited representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service to find out who they were but received no answer so far," the Moldovan President said.
According to him, Russians who were expelled from Moldova "had planned to hire 6,000 people as advertising agents with daily wages worth $25".
Mr. Voronin believes these activities are connected with the forthcoming parliamentary elections in the republic.
In his opinion, the arrival of "the so-called spin doctors was interference in Moldova's election campaign.
