Mr. Rushailo said this to RIA Novosti on Friday after the meeting with Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Abdunabi Sattorov.
"I informed Mr. Sattorov about the Executive Committee's work on the implementation of decisions of the CIS Council of Heads of State on the modernization and reforms of the Commonwealth bodies," Mr. Rushailo said.
In his opinion, this issue is important while "approaches to the forthcoming reforms remain ambiguous."
"Before launching reforms of the CIS bodies we should outline the concept of the Commonwealth's strategic development and priority trends and then to start elaborating cooperation mechanisms and organizational measures," Mr. Rushailo said.
According to him, the CIS Executive Committee supports Russia's proposal on boosting humanitarian cooperation of the CIS countries and is ready to participate in drafting a multilateral agreement on the formation of a common humanitarian space.
Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Abdunabi Sattorov promised to inform Foreign Minister Tolbak Nazarov, currently at the session of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Foreign Ministers in Astana, about his conversation with Vladimir Rushailo.
