"We are considering several possible arrangements. Each is extremely complicated for the fruit it may bring the financial and fiscal spheres. Two giants are merging-such huge deals as that cannot be made without most thorough preparations, or we shall be in for bungles.
"Every possible option comes under consideration eventually to come at the best possible pattern."
"The merger will be over even before this month's end, say certain media outlets. Is that right?" asked our correspondent.
"There is no way to do such things overnight. They are done in no hurry-it's better to take stock of even the smallest details," was the reply.
"No one has given up the goal of liberalizing the stock market. The work is underway, and will be over quite soon, with positive results," reassured the minister.
