MOSCOW, March 12 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow hails statements of US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the readiness to help Iran join the World Trade Organization, said official spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Yakovenko.
"Moscow has positive assessed Dr. Rice's statements containing new aspects of US policy on Iran," he noted.
"We hope these aspects will conform with the policy of Russia and Western Europe striving for the solution of all problems connected with Iran's nuclear program on the basis of cooperation," Mr. Yakovenko stressed.
