KIEV, March 19 (RIA Novosti) - Talks between Russian and Ukrainian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Viktor Yushchenko have started in Kiev.
The Russian leader arrived in Ukraine on Saturday on a one-day routine visit. This is Putin's first visit to Kiev after Viktor Yushchenko's election. The latter paid a visit to Russia after his inauguration in January.
The Russian president will also hold talks with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko and Supreme Rada Speaker Vladimir Litvin, said Putin's aide Sergei Prikhodko.
According to him, the two leaders will meet with Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Vladimir.
In the evening Vladimir Putin and Viktor Yushchenko will give a press conference. After that, they will have dinner, Prikhodko reported.
