BISHKEK, March 20 (RIA Novosti, Yulia Orlova) - Pro-government public foundation With People and for People appealed to Kyrgyz authorities on Sunday to declare the state of emergency in the country.
"We urge you to declare the state of emergency immediately in order to provide legal protection of local citizens from ambitious and anarchic actions of certain groups, which deceive people and turn personal conflicts into national antagonisms, block roads, seize important government facilities, etc," the statement released by the foundation says.
The leaders of the foundation also urge "to prosecute and close down the media sources that conduct a public campaign of ideological terrorism."
The foundation also appealed to the citizens of the country to "not only support, but also protect President Askar Akayev."
