According to Russian delegation member Boris Reutov, a regular meeting of the Executive Committee from the International Partnership for the Hydrogen Economy - an organization established for the studying of and sharing experience in devising hydrogen engines - will be held during the congress.
"Brazil boasts good achievements in the area of devising hydrogen engines," Reutov said. "The Brazilians devised the first, though so far experimental, bus that works fully on this environmentally clean and safe fuel. At the end of the congress, we will have a chance to visit the projects engaged in devising such engines and to estimate Brazil's achievements in this field."
A Russian delegation is also scheduled to participate in the South American Congress, devoted to international cooperation in the hydrogen economy area. The congress begins in Rio de Janeiro on Monday.
