MOSCOW, March 21 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian President's aide, special representative for the development of relations with the European Union Sergei Yastrzhembsky met with EU Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner on Monday.
The sides discussed "the completion of work on the road maps on four common spaces, prospects of the establishment of visa-free regulations between Russia and EU members, including in the context of the conclusion of the readmission agreement, promotion of the formation of a special Russian-EU body on the problems of the Kaliningrad region, in particular, cargo transit," Yastrzhembsky's staff told RIA Novosti.
"The sides expressed hope for the signing of the road maps on the four common spaces at the forthcoming summit in Moscow in May," RIA Novosti's interlocutor said.
Benita Ferrero-Waldner arrived in Moscow on Monday to hold talks with the Russian leadership on Russia-EU relations.
