MOSCOW, March 24, (RIA Novosti) - The economic security department of Russia's Interior Ministry has put a stop to the production of counterfeited CD and DVD disks on the licensed lines of one of the Moscow firms in the village of Nazarovo, Odintsovo district, Moscow region, says a press release of the ministry's press-service. In the interests of investigation, the names of the suspects and of the firm are not being divulged.
Staff of the department discovered and seized 46,000 pieces of unlicensed output the rights to which belong to well-known Russian and foreign rights proprietors.
"It was lucky for our men to seize working dies for making pirated disks," says the release.
