AEROFLOT TO FLY MORE, BUT AT HIGHER PRICES

MOSCOW, March 24 (RIA Novosti) - According to the summer schedule of Aeroflot-Russian Airlines, the number of flights along the most promising and popular foreign and tourist routes will increase 36%, Igor Desyatnichenko, the deputy director general of Aeroflot, said on Thursday.

According to him, the company will be operating according to the summer schedule from March 27 till October 29, 2005.

"The number of flights in 2005 will exceed 25,000, while 2004 saw over 24,000 flights," he said.

As for the company's pricing policy, Yevgeny Bachurin, the commercial director of Aeroflot, said that prices would be growing gradually, within 5-7%, in 2005.
