BISHKEK, March 26 (RIA Novosti) - Kyrgyzstan's acting President Kurmanbek Bakiyev has promised to retain the basic framework of the system of government set up by former President Akayev.

He pledged that all the country's political forces will have due representation in the Kyrgyz power structures.

According to him, he has no intention to change the current system of government in Kyrgyzstan.

"I ask all the administrative bodies to refrain from making any personnel changes," Bakiyev said.

He called on the staff of ousted President Akayev and Prime Minister Tanayev's offices to report back to work. We must re-establish order in the White House," Bakiyev pointed out.

Earlier, Bakiyev told the country's MPs that the new authorities were taking due measures to re-establish law and order in the country.

"The steps we have undertaken to date allow us, to a great measure, to regain control of the general situation. The law-enforcement agencies are getting over the crisis and have started to fulfil their duties," Bakiyev said.

According to him, "we see much more order in the streets now".

Bakiyev pointed out that the continued outbursts of unrest in the country are instigated by certain political forces that are not interested in stability in Kyrgyzstan.

"One cannot fail to see that the unrest is supported by specially organized people," he said.
