BISHKEK, March 26 (RIA Novosti) - Felix Kulov, coordinator of Kyrgyzstan's security agencies, sees no grounds for impeaching President Akayev.

"The vote of no confidence takes place in case of high treason or after initiation of criminal proceedings. So far, we have no evidence of either," Kulov said in an interview broadcasted by the national TV.

Commenting on the issue of property allegedly owned by Akayev, Kulov pointed out that he had "no grounds to assign ownership of any major assets to President Akayev."

In addition, Kulov said that a special commission was set up by the authorities to investigate the incidents caused by acts of provocation during the March 24 mass rally.
