MOSCOW, April 2 (RIA Novosti) - Vyacheslav Koloskov who resigned from the post of the Russian Football Union President on Saturday says he is leaving this post with a sad heart.
"This is sad, of course. It is not easy to leave this post but I do this without any dramas or tragedies," Koloskov told journalists.
At first he planned to resign in the end of 2005, however, was forced to do so now for certain reasons.
According to Koloskov, if he is elected honored president of the Russian Football Union he will have much work to do. "I will work at least until 2008," he noted.
Moreover, Koloskov intends to teach and work at the International Academy of Football and Sport Industry. He is the president of this academy.
