MOSCOW, April 6 (RIA Novosti) - The assassination attempt on Anatoly Chubais was thoroughly and professionally prepared, member of the RAO UES board Andrei Trapeznikov told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
According to him, RAO UES is satisfied with the course of the investigation. Trapeznikov denied some media reports that the assassination attempt had been staged.
Anatoly Chubais' motorcade was attacked on March 10 morning near the village of Zhavoronki of the Odintsovo district (the Moscow region) one kilometer away from the Minsk highway. The RAO UES head was not injured.
Former Russian General Staff officer, Colonel Vladimir Kvachkov is suspected of the attempt on Chubais' life. Kvachkov was arrested.
The grave crimes department of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office is investigating the case.
