He flatly refuted allegations of Ms. Timoshenko's visit, initially scheduled for April 15-16, postponed merely because the Ukrainian delegation to accompany her was not ready for the event.
"Ukrainians had not a single reason to avoid the trip. I was taking part in brainwork to prepare Ms. Timoshenko's visit to Moscow, and so I can say the Prime Minister is ready with strategic offers of great interest to Russia.
"Ms. Timoshenko was going to Russia not to settle minor matters, and not to make requests-in contrast to previous trips by Ukraine's supreme officers, who were going to Russia to ask for oil and gas. She was intending to advance real big initiatives."
Mr. Vydrin is sure the Premier will face the Russian top quite soon with proposals concerning Ukrainian-Russian partnership.
