JAKARTA, April 23 (RIA Novosti, Mikhail Tsyganov) - Kofi Annan, United Nations Secretary General, is eager to meet President Vladimir Putin at 60th V-E Day anniversary celebrations in Moscow.
He hopes to see President Putin and meet at the negotiation table with other Russian dignitaries, Annan said to a RIA Novosti reporter, while addressing a news conference in Indonesia's capital today, where he is attending Asian-African summitry.
The Secretary General, however, is not sure he will have enough time for negotiations as his Moscow schedule of early May will center on World War II victory anniversary celebrations, he remarked.
