MOSCOW, April 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's federal Security Council held session today, President Vladimir Putin chairing, reports Alexei Gromov, presidential press secretary. The agenda concerned numerous issues of domestic and foreign politics.
Attending the session were Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov; Dmitri Medvedev, Kremlin chief of staff; Igor Ivanov, Security Council Secretary; Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister; Sergei Ivanov, Defense Minister; Rashid Nurgaliev, Interior Minister; Nikolai Patrushev, Federal Security Service chief; and Sergei Lebedev, Foreign Intelligence Service chief.
