MOSCOW, April 24 (RIA Novosti) Russia plans to solve all controversial issues with Georgia during the upcoming bilateral talks.

"We hope we will be able to reach agreement on all major issues," Russian ambassador-at-large Lev Mironov told RIA Novosti.

According to Mironov, Russian and Georgian foreign ministers Sergei Lavrov and Salome Zurabishvili plan to discuss the entire range of bilateral issues during the upcoming talks.

Zurabishvili arrives in Moscow on Sunday to discuss issues related to activities and withdrawal of Russian military bases on the Georgian territory.

Mironov could not say whether the sides would discuss the fate of the "main treaty" between Russia and Georgia. In his opinion, the prospects are good and the texts have been coordinated.

Foreign ministry's spokesperson Alexander Yakovenko told RIA Novosti yesterday that the sides would also discuss the creation of a Russian-Georgian anti-terrorist center.

He noted that in the middle of March the Russian side sent to Georgia the relevant initiatives prepared in accordance with all previous suggestions made by the Georgian leadership during Sergei Lavrov's visit to Tbilisi.

"These documents were discussed during expert meetings in Moscow and Tbilisi in March-April of this year and during two rounds of bilateral talks on military issues," the Russian diplomat underlined.

He also said that the sides would discuss other issues of mutual concern in the spheres of bilateral, regional and international relations.
