CAIRO, April 27 (RIA Novosti) - One of the streets of Aswan in Egypt will be named after Russian engineer Nikolai Malyshev.
"We've taken a decision to name a street of Aswan after great Russian designer Nikolai Malyshev. He designed the Aswan dam", Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak told a news conference after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Cairo.
Vladimir Putin thanked the Egyptian president for the decision taken.
The Russian president also invited Hosni Mubarak to pay a visit to Russia. In turn, Mubarak said: "The doors of Egypt are always open for the president of Russia".
Speaking of cooperation in the field of education, the heads of state supported the idea of establishing a Russian-Egyptian university in Cairo.
