* Easter and May Day will see many public events-rallies and demonstrations. Their organizers represent the entire range of political movements. These are the Moscow Trade Union Federation, several Communist and other Left leagues, the political party SPS (the Union of Right Forces), the Labor Russia movement, the Russian Revival Party, the Russian Pensioners' Party, the International Eurasian Movement, and the Liberal Democratic Party.
* Moscow is opening its 4th Easter Festival, led by top-notch conductor Valery Gergiev. The International Music House is hosting an initial concert, 07:00 p.m.. The festival will last until May 11, with concerts in many noteworthy sites-in particular, at the Poklonnaya Hill WWII Memorial, in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior Church Council Hall, and in several other Moscow cathedrals and churches.
