e UK. So, to his heartfelt regret, he cannot attend V-E anniversary celebrations in Moscow, he said to President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation, reports the Kremlin press service.
President Putin sees Mr. Blair's point, he reassured. He heartily congratulated the British Prime Minister on his birthday and Labor victory in yesterday's election.
Messrs. Putin and Blair discussed their contact schedule preceding G8 summitry, due in Great Britain, July next.
