BRUSSELS, May 6 (RIA Novosti's Alexander Shishlo) - Joint Russia-NATO theatre missile defense exercises with the use of military technology are likely to be staged in 2007-2008, Russian NATO envoy Vice-Admiral Valentin Kuznetsov said in Brussels Friday.
He reported about the decision to hold the third joint Russia-NATO command-and-staff theatre AMD games in Moscow in the second half of 2006.
The second relevant joint operations took place under the Russia-NATO Council aegis last March at the De Peel air base in the Netherlands, following the first ones in the USA's Colorado Springs in March 2004.
More than three million euros have been allocated for investigating into the parties' military technological compatibility in terms of the ADM theater.
