The plant is located on Zolotorozhski Val Street, building 11. The fire alarm signal was received at 2.50 p.m. (MST). The fire has been given the third degree on a five-degree scale. As a result of the fire, about 400 square meters of the roof have partially collapsed.
There is no information about human casualties. Twenty firefighter crews have been sent to the site of the fire.
Clouds of black smoke rising from the building are seen from a distance of several kilometers, RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the site.
Two Emergency Ministry's fire-rescue helicopters - Mi-8 and Mi-26 - participate in the fire-extinguishing operation.
