The film "Together" is a story about a mother and her son, the chronicle of their last days spent together. It was jointly shot by French school of cinema La Femis and Russia's film studio Metronom Film, a representative of Metronom Film told RIA Novosti.
In 2000, Director Nikolai Khomeriki finished the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Film Directors. He took lessons from Vladimir Khotinenko, Pavel Finn, Vladimir Fenchenko. In 2001, the Foreign Ministry of France gave him a grant that enabled him to study film direction at La Femis school. In 2005, he graduated and received a 'Diploma with Jury's Compliments.'
Short films are competing in the Cinefoundation section. World famous directors Martin Scorsese, Emir Kusturica chaired the jury of the festival in the past years. In 2004, Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov was the president of the jury.
