"It [the WTO accession] will take place when Russia is convinced that the conditions of the accession to the WTO are just and when we are sure that demands exceeding those put forward to other countries are not forwarded to us," Fedotov said.
According to Yuri Fedotov, "negotiations on Russia's accession to the WTO have entered the final stage. There is no alternative to this accession as there is no alternative to globalization," he stressed.
"Some countries are trying to impose on Russia agreements which are beyond the WTO framework," he said adding that it would be difficult.
"The issue of the accession terms should not press on negotiators. The quality of agreements should be the top priority," the deputy foreign minister emphasized.
