Border guards stopped and surrounded them, blocking the path of border violators.
All the security forces of the republic's southern regions have been put on alert. Additional forces are being drawn to sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border because refugees continue to arrive from Uzbekistan.
The situation on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border section is under control, the border service of Kyrgyzstan said.
