MOSCOW, May 20 (RIA Novosti, Irina Spasova) - The 3rd world tea and coffee festival has opened in Moscow. Tea and coffee brands from many countries will be offered to festival guests.

Teas from Mongolia, Buryatia and Kazakhstan are presented in a nomad tent-looking pavilion, festival director Ilya Lukyanov said. Other seven pavilions represent Russia, India, China, Japan, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Over 50 companies are taking part in the three-day festival.

Quality certificates, diplomas (including for the most popular tea in Russia) and two grand-prix (for black tea and green tea) will be handed to festival participants.

The organizers expect 50,000-60,000 people to attend the event.

Artists will entertain the youngest visitors. They will be offered to join poetic, artistic and other contests and to play tricks. Winners will get toys, sweets and magazines, Lukyanov added.
